Mullanphy Elementary Enjoys Day of Fitness, Receives Medals

More than 400 students from Mullanphy Elementary School recently completed the GO! St. Louis Read, Right & Run Marathon program, when they ran their final 1.2 miles on a specially designed course at the school. Mullanphy was one of more than 150 schools and 19,000 area students that participated in the popular youth program, now in its 11^th year. Students from Mullanphy received a medal as they crossed the finish line and were given healthy snacks and water. Congrats to all of the schools that participated in the GO! St. Louis Read, Right Run Marathon (RRRM) during the 2010-11 school year. Express Scripts, a large supporter of area youth programs, served as the presenting sponsor for the program, with many of their employees volunteering their time at RRRM events.
