GO! St. Louis Share-A-Pair

Share-A-Pair was a community-wide initiative launched by GO! St. Louis, in partnership with MERS-Goodwill to collect 20,010 pairs of gently-worn shoes in 2010.

A specially-designed Shoe-Mobile receptacle, which is approximately 6’x 9’ and completely portable was on display at area companies and select locations throughout the region. Donated shoes were collected by MERS-Goodwill for distribution to outlets, which ultimately help fund its mission to train and provide assistance to our community. Additional shoes that are not reusable are recycled.

Thanks to all the companies, schools and individuals who participated in the Share-A-Pair program. Because of your generosity we were able to collect more than 20,010 shoes in 2010!
